The past 10 years of freelancing in the realms of design has brought me opportunities to venture within book design, book making, art direction, album covers, logos, product design, app design, flyers, vinyl installations, posters, type design, visual identity and everything that comes in between. I’ve worked (& played) with teams as well as solo.

My creative career began at age 12, when I worked as a freelance photographer for events and gatherings around Miami. Growing up, I was always immersed in some form of art. I was drawn to design for the way it invites curiosity across mediums—unconfined to just one. That, and the primordial, ever-growing archive of images, text, and logos embedded in my visual memory, keeps me fascinated with exploring how design influences perception.

Studio Lockhart was established in 2022 and is the creative studio practice of Mia Lockhart.
