The past 8 years of freelancing in the realm of design has brought me opportunities to venture within book design, book making, art direction, album covers, logos, product design, app design, flyers, vinyl installations, posters, type design, visual identity and everything that comes in between. I’ve worked (& played) with teams as well as solo.

The first creative job I worked was at 12 years old as a freelance photographer for events and gatherings around Miami. I was always involved in some form of art growing up. The freedom of not having to pick one medium is what initially attracted me to working in design. ^This + the logos embedded into my (/our? shared) memory drives (see: Occipital Lobes>Visual Cortex).

Studio Lockhart was established in 2022 and is the creative studio practice of Mia Lockhart.

Brooklyn based, Miami leaning
